Nana Ama Afoa Osae is an award winning children's author. She has so far penned several books, articles and features for children. Born in Ghana, Nana Ama Afoa Osae began her writing career in 2004 and has since been quite a prolific writer, churning out reading materials meant for a young audience.  
Her maiden book, The Storyteller, won the Ghana Book Industry Award (Junior Fiction Category) in 2008 which hitherto had been won by literary Ghanaian legends such as Ama Ataa Aidoo, Afua Sutherland and Meshack Asare to mention a few. The Storyteller is a collection of six Ghanaian folktales, created by Nana Ama Afoa Osae and was published in 2007. 
She is also the author of the interesting Queiba Books (a series which centers on an interesting character called Queiba), Queiba's Question and Queiba's Dress which were published in 2014.  
Presently, she is working on her fourth and fifth projects, the next in the Queiba series and a picture storybook respectively.
